Table for 2 without reservation and we had to wait for a short while. We got called to go upstairs. You have to take of shoes and put it in a numbered box, then take out wooden plate with your number. I have ordered Tuna Special set and Eel Box set with Oolong Tea. Excellent food. Eel is the softest I have eaten. It is as if it melts in your mouth. Deserved 5 star review.

Unagi was good but Potatoes salad taste horrible. Service was average, ordered my drink from the boss but never served, need second reminder. I don’t think I will go back again.

We had the sushi big platter (60k yen) to share among 4 ppl and it was just nice! Portions were great, but the fish weren’t that fresh (Don’t compare to Hokkaido tho).
Funny story is we saw the tag of sushi platter outside the door. When we asked the staff, they were initially clueless and so we had to show the tag. After which they realised that hardly anyone ordered the platter so they had to take pics of the sushi platter previously then try to recreate it.
This izakaya restaurant serves literally all kind of food and alcohol, on one hand it’s good that it caters to wide varying of food palette, but the other hand is that with such a huge menu, it’s hard to keep so much different ingredients and also to keep up with the consistency & quality. This is clearly shown by how they forgot the sushi platter until we ordered.

Price was very reasonable for the serving. You might need to have more patience while dining here as it is by the street, so it’s usually busy.

Service was amazing, the people were really friendly, and the food was phenomenal! Highly recommend it. We got tempura shrimp, katsu Don bowl, the steak bowl, and plum wine with soda.
