There are so many different types of meals to choose from that I'm always confused! All delicious! Even though the owner is managing the food by himself, he is very efficient and brings the food to you without you having to wait long after you order. I think the owner really loves cooking.

The other day, I went to Sakamaru Teradacho store for a company social gathering. The store is located in the basement of a building right next to Teradacho Station on the JR Loop Line. This time it was a course meal that included all-you-can-drink. First of all, let's toast with beer and have a salad. It contained fried lotus roots and sweet potatoes, and it was crunchy and delicious. The sashimi was cut quite thickly and was filling and delicious. The sweet and sour pork came out, but it was so large that you couldn't finish it all in one bite. The meal ended with rice balls and egg soup. All dishes are full of volume.

It's cheap, delicious, and the best in front of the station, but the beef dishes are tough and I can't recommend them.

190jpy beer on Tuesdays (and perhaps Thursdays, too, now?). A hidden basement izakaya a few seconds from Teradacho Station. The space was busy but nowhere near hectic on a Friday night. They have tables as well as horigotatsu (recessed tatami) seating for groups.The prices are reasonable, the menu is large and interesting. All the food was good, from the appetizer (a tiny dish of braised konnyaku, tofu, and chikuwa) to the salad.The agedashi tofu, chicken nanban, doteyaki, and agedashi tofu were not obsession-worthy, but good enough that I'd love to try the rest of what they offer.1 chuhai, plus a smattering of dishes for 2 people, totaled 3000jpy.When we went, there wasn't anyone smoking, nor was there a cigarette odor - which leads me to believe it's a non-smoking spot! The worst thing here is that there are a couple mosquitos flying around. I'm a fan.
