The service and atmosphere weren't bad, but the taste wasn't as good as everyone said, which was disappointing as I had high expectations.

**Conclusion:**After this meal, I can confidently say that it ranks as the worst dining experience I’ve had in all my trips to Japan, after visiting countless restaurants of various sizes. 🤬**About the overall taste:**Subpar, below average. The chef's interpretation of "omakase" was more like turning leftover ingredients into a meal resembling kitchen waste.**About the restaurant menu:**When the beef salad arrived, I asked the staff if there was a set menu for tonight’s dinner. They said no. In my experience, both in Japan and abroad, omakase restaurants usually have a set menu, either displayed online or presented at the table—although I’ve encountered a few exceptions.**About the service:**The process of ordering drinks before dinner officially began was unnecessarily difficult (this restaurant is supposedly known for offering affordable sake). I initially asked if they offered a drink pairing for the meal, but the answer was no. Then I asked if they could recommend some sake based on the ingredients used in the meal—again, the answer was no. Throughout the meal, there was no communication between the chef, the staff, and us. Even when we left after paying, there was no acknowledgment of the large amount of food we left uneaten, nor any inquiry as to whether there was an issue. If you're planning to visit Osaka and want to try this restaurant, be sure to avoid their omakase.

One of the best Izakaya experiences I’ve ever had. Food is fine-dining class, and sake collection is great. Love the way they treat food.
