Must do in Osaka! The seafood was fresh, the atmosphere and service was excellent! Prices were reasonable with unlimited cold tea available to help beat the heat. The unagi was incredibly tasty - get it! Don’t be deterred by the long line. It moves fairly quickly.
Iconic chef with iconic performance! The food was fantastic and great to wash down with an ice cold beer on a warm day. The highlight was off course the energy of the chef and the enthusiasm/skills with cooking the grilled tuna cheek. Very enjoyable experience and would come again next time we're in Osaka.
Food was fantastic especially the broiled tuna cheek. The sets are priced well and honestly everything besides the tuna cheek gets served up extremely quick so if you have to wait in a long queue I wouldn't be overly worried about it you'll still eat pretty quickly.
People complaining about being yelled at are the ones standing in the middle of the alley where cars are driving through pretty quickly sometimes.

Delicious and fast service. There was a line when we arrived but we were seated within 10 minutes. The salmon roe sushi was my favourite, followed by the broiled tuna cheeks. I also liked the communal seating! Good opportunity to chat with others. The crowd comprised tourists and older locals enjoying a meal and beer with friends.
Delicious food, but not overly amazing. Definitely more for the showmanship for the grilled fish cheeks. Small space with only standing tables so expect to be squeezed a little. Definitely come at least 30 minutes to queue up.
