An izakaya near the Umeda bus station. There are two floors, the first one with the kitchen can accommodate 20 people so I assume the second could attend to more. The place also has a large screen for sports viewing. Aside from the tooshi and the first drink, you need to order using their app so that’s a minus for their service. They refuse to get asked directly. The way they serve their tonpeiyaki is quite clever, they grill a pork loin stick then put an omelette on top of the pork. Other than that the drinks are quite average in price, which was not what I expected since they boast their restaurant name as “very cheap”.

Many of the reviews seem to be pretty harsh, but when I went there, it didn't feel that bad.
Many of the dishes were a bit unusual, but the portions were small, but overall it was cheap and I was able to eat a variety of different types.
The gyoza were also cheap and delicious.
I guess it was because I went with my family and didn't need the service.
However, my family felt uncomfortable because of the cigarette smoke from the group next door.
If you don't like smoke, you may want to let the staff know in advance.

Popular Izakaya Kanpaiya. I thought it was a dinner shop, but it turned out to be a toast shop. The store closes around 11pm on weekdays, but the area behind Hankyu is open. That's how I arrived at it. I drank it lightly with gyoza and yakisoba as a snack. It's cheap!

It was a good restaurant for a light meal. However, it is a smoking-friendly store, so it may be a bit disappointing for non-smokers. The Edo beer was so much better than I expected that I ate half of it with Otoshi before the food even came out.
In the case of otoshi, the taste wasn't bad, but why charge this price? I thought... I would have rather tried a different menu for the price of otoshi for two people, but the problem was that they didn't ask if there was a seat fee since it was my first time going to this restaurant.
Nevertheless, considering the price, it is a very good place to have a light drink. The people around me were all of a younger age, and I could see them ordering more drinks than snacks and dividing the bill later. (About 6,000 yen for 4 people)
I went there because I wanted to have draft beer for dinner, so I ordered three menu items and a drink each. The eel sushi was my favorite, and my friend's favorite was the bulgogi egg roll. The dumplings were also okay.
If you are a traveler who always visits the same delicious restaurants and expensive light restaurants, it might not be a bad idea to go for a draft beer at least once.
I thought it was quick as the menu came out 10 minutes after the beer was served, but I wonder if it was because it was before closing. We were seated at 11, beer was served at 11:10, snacks were served at 20, and we left around 11:30 lol (I never told them to leave quickly, and everyone around me was enjoying it too.)
He was friendly when paying and was just the kind of customer service appropriate for a young man of his age.
Of course, there was a clerk passing by who didn't hear me when I called, but when I asked about ossume, he told me that I had to focus on the red letters on the menu, so I was able to choose the menu well. (There is no English menu, but you can order using the QR code.)

Was one of the few izakaya with lights on when we landed and checked in to our hotel. The atmosphere looked good. Had a memory there not related to food. It’s a pity.
