An okonomiyaki and teppanyaki restaurant located in the Hinode Shopping Arcade, about a 5-minute walk from Neyagawa-shi Station. The owner worked for Osaka's leading okonomiyaki chain, Chibo, for over 20 years and rose to a fairly high-ranking position within the company. After leaving the company, he opened this restaurant on his own a year and a half ago. Run by his wife and his wife (his wife's Beppin Mama friend helped on the day)
I stopped by during weekday lunch time and ordered KABACHAN grilled meat for 1180 yen and aged pork tonteki for 1080 yen. KABACHAN-yaki has a softness that is somewhere between Kansai-mixed okonomiyaki and monja. Since there is less flour, you can eat it lightly without feeling heavy on your stomach. The rave reviews are overwhelming. I don't eat tonteki very often, but it's delicious with grated onions. The portions were more than enough and I was full.
We had a great time talking about delicious restaurants in Neyagawa City with the owner of the restaurant, who was born and raised in Neyagawa City.We also enjoyed drinking additional alcohol in the afternoon on weekdays.

This is an okonomiyaki restaurant located in Hinodecho, Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture.
It was originally the site of a cheap restaurant called Kenroku Shokudo that had been in operation for many years.
This is a shop started by the owner, who is originally from Chibo, a place that everyone from Kansai has heard of.
I'm sure there was an episode where the president of Chibo made a surprise visit during a TV program introducing shops recommended by big-name presidents in the Kansai region.
In other words, even though I was interested because it was a local store, I forgot about it lol.
My daughter wasn't home today so I didn't have anything to prepare for dinner, so I was looking for a good restaurant nearby when I remembered something (*^^*)
This time, we received the shop's famous Tonpeiyaki ¥580 x 2, the manager's recommended aged pork tonteki ¥1180, pork yakisoba ¥930, and the shop's most popular KABACHAN yaki ¥1080 and DX ¥1480.
I love Tonpeiyaki. This is my favorite classic that I would definitely eat if I had it! The combination of soft eggs and homemade mayo is outstanding!
The store manager's recommended tonteki is as delicious as it is recommended by the store owner! It's not covered in a sauce like the typical Western-style tonteki, but instead has two types of sauce, the restaurant's original grated onion, grated radish, butter, and ponzu sauce, which is light and refreshing and brings out the deliciousness of the pork.
Pork yakisoba is a type of yakisoba made with thick noodles.
KABACHAN yaki is made with fluffy dough, sauce, homemade mayo, dried bonito flakes, and a cheese fried egg on top!
There's no way you can go wrong with the combination of the richness of the soft-boiled red egg yolk, cheese, mayo, and the sauce that is the soul of Kansai people! lol
DX has added striped seaweed, shrimp, and squid.
On the first floor, there are 3 counter seats, 2 tables for 4 people, and 2 tables for 2 people. There is also tatami seating on the second floor.
The store is located in the Hinode shopping district and there is no parking lot, but there is a coin parking lot in front of the back entrance. Well, it doesn't matter if you drink it, right?
Next time, let's try grilled yam (*^^*)

The okonomiyaki was reasonably priced and delicious, and we were asked about our preferences for green seaweed, dried bonito flakes, and mayonnaise. I ordered the squid ball and it was quite satisfying with plenty of squid. The lunch set comes with salad, soup, rice, or dessert, and I chose dessert, but the weekly dessert → white chocolate terrine was handmade. It was exquisite!
Although the number of guests was limited, the master's attentiveness was very good. Next time, I would like to have some snacks for a night drink ^ ^

It's a teppanyaki restaurant that opened after Kenroku Shokudo, and I've been here several times. My children's favorite is Tonpeiyaki. Lately, when people ask me what my favorite food is, I answer tonpeiyaki. The owner is also raising a small child, so you can rest assured that the mayonnaise is hand-made and uses as few additives as possible so that it is safe for children. The Negiyaki was also very delicious with lots of Kuroge Wagyu beef tendon and crunchy green onions. The dessert was handmade by the wife and was also very delicious. It changes weekly, so I want to eat it every week.
The owner is a wonderful person and the restaurant is child-friendly.

This is my second visit. I ordered yuzu radish, grilled green onions, grilled KABACHAN, salt fried noodles, and pork kimchi.
Kabachanyaki was especially delicious. The texture is melty and the cheese taste is exquisite. I want to eat it again.
Next time I will participate in the counter.
