A business meeting with a client was successfully completed before noon.I'm heading home today, so I'm going to have a quick drink. It's still before noon, but the shops are busy. After two cups of sweet potato soup, I chose fried eggplant and chive balls! For some reason today's taste is super bland. But maybe this place is better?
Great atmosphere. It was always crowded and I thought I wouldn't be able to get in, but I ended up getting in by chance.
I ordered addictive chicken wings @ 80 yen ☓ 3 (you can order from 3 or more) and Chinese soba with oden soup @ 400 yen.The sweet and spicy sauce on the chicken wings is delicious, but there aren't many places to eat them.Chinese soba, the noodles are a bit delicate, but it's about half a ball. The soup is delicious because it has bonito flakes and wakame seaweed on top, plus oden stock.I wonder if it would be yudofu if tofu was added instead of noodles.I tried to order cod roe, but when I saw that the person next to me was ordering it, I decided against it because it was quite a lot for one person. The price is quite high, so I'd be happy if there was a half size.Overall the taste seems good so I would like to visit again.
An izakaya that is open from 7am to 11pm. From 3:00 pm until closing, it transforms into a standing bar.The interior of the store has an atmosphere that is reminiscent of the Showa era, which is nostalgic for those born in the Showa era. They also serve set meals in the morning, and the place is crowded with men drinking after their night shift, office workers before going to work, and tourists arriving by night bus.Just listening to the conversations between the regulars and the shopkeepers makes it fun in the morning. Many of the dishes are homemade and cost-effective, ranging from 350 yen to 600 yen.The food is delicious, but the ice-cold beer is even better.
Food is nothing special, a bit pricy. The most important point is they serve alcohol from early morning. I saw they already opened and served alcohol from 7am. If you wanna drink from early morning, you can come here.
Standing bar. Old guys, smoking, drinking. I visit after work occasionally to unwind.
