Please be aware that the store is NOT friendly to foreigners. They did NOT recognize our reservation and charged us extra fees with no reason. On the mobile booking page, the order recipient shows that we ordered appetizers HOWEVER it was added by the server without our awareness and permission. At first, we thought that was a mistake and we asked the server twice to double make sure what it is. The server said it is “appetizer fee” first time and then said it is a “seat fee” second time . My family who speaks Japanese and the language translators all mentioned that this means appetizers but they DID NOT serve it to us. We didn't know that might be a trick so we kept waiting there but nothing came out at the end and it is very obvious that the server was not going to prepare anything and charged that for unacceptable reason, they did this just because we were not able to communicate in Japanese/English. Btw, please also be aware that the pics in the comments last year do NOT look like what it is right now, it seems great last year but now it is a very small place in a corner of a small food court. What you have done to us really ruined the good credit and impression of how the country Japan has given to us. The charged fee is not expensive but very disrespectful indeed. Please note that this store is not very friendly to foreigners. First of all, our advance reservation was not recognized (but there were already reserved tables on site), and after we successfully sat down and ordered food, we were charged extra fees for no reason. In the screenshot, the ordering screen on the mobile phone showed the price of "appetizers" that the clerk added without permission. At first, we thought it was an accidental mistake and asked the clerk twice to confirm this dish. However, the clerk said it was "side dish fee" the first time and "seating fee" the second time. All my Japanese-speaking family members and translators said it was an "appetizer," but they didn't serve it. At first we didn't think it might be a scam, and we wasted a lot of time waiting for our seats. Later, they didn't make any preparations, and they just added this fee to the fee we had paid for no reason. We thought it must be... To deceive us by taking advantage of our inability to communicate in Japanese or English (we don't know Japanese and they don't know English). In addition, please note that the appearance of the store is no longer what it looks like in other reviews. It may have been good in the past, but now it is in a very small food area and the store is in a small corner at the innermost corner. What the store has done has ruined our good impression of Japan as a country. Even if the additional fee is not very high, it is undoubtedly a very disrespectful and unfriendly behavior towards foreigners.
I made a reservation, but the store was closed. It was difficult to find a replacement store. I think they should at least contact us if they are going to close the store.
``HUB KITCHEN'', located between Sakaisuji Honmachi and Honmachi, is a food court-like restaurant area.At the very back is Seafood Izakaya Kaki Q, where you can eat fresh seafood and meat, including oysters sent directly from the farm. It's a style where you can enjoy seafood and other seafood grilled to your desired doneness on the stove. There were various types of seats such as table seats, sofa seats, and counter seats. You can enjoy a little BBQ even on bad weather days.[Limited from 17:00 to 19:00]The great value set with oysters includes 2 drinks + 3 types of oysters (raw oysters, grilled oysters, and fried oysters) for a whopping 1,000 yen!Furthermore, it seems that they have recently started offering a salmon course. In addition to the three courses you can choose from, over 20 individual menu items have also been added, making this a must-see for salmon lovers. If you make a reservation in advance, they seem to be able to serve you even from noon. While I was grilling the shrimp and clams, I ate salmon and salmon roe ``oya-ko nigiri'' and ``salmon and cream cheese roll.'' The salmon was delicious. The ``salmon grilled in foil (butter)'' and large oysters were also delicious with ponzu sauce and soy sauce. We also recommend the crispy fried oysters.
[Oyster hut where you can eat delicious brand oysters] Osaka3 minutes walk from Honmachi station"Kaki Q"・10 branded oysters from Ako "Samurai Oyster" 3,600 yen・It has a very large body and is packed with flavor and is delicious.・There are also other restaurants where you can enjoy grilling scallops, scallops, shrimp, etc.・All-you-can-drink including alcohol is 1,600 yen・A shop with a slightly chaotic atmosphere that is very conducive to conversation and fun.
I've been to the store below Links Umeda before! Is that the second store over there? That's what I thought, but due to the rain and wind, it seems like they closed down and opened a new one here in Honmachi!I used to work hard to open the oyster shells, but now that they've opened the shells, it's much easier to eat!Just like before, it's a self-service style where you go and pick up the drinks and seasonings yourself! ✨You can easily eat juicy oysters on your way home from work, so be sure to give it a try! 🦪❤️
The ambience is really casual and cozy, you grill your own food and take your own cutlery- so basically self-service.As for the food, it’s all fresh but a but too pricey for the quality. The pice is the same as in the expensive restaurants in the city but the taste leaves something to be desired or is a but ordinary compared to the prices and small portions. Even the side dishes like kimchi are more expensive than regular izakayas even though they taste the same.My recommendation is to come here just for a small bite to enjoy the mood but not to fill your stomach with hopes of something exceptional.
When I go to this oysters bar. The servers and the master was so great. I ate oysters, shrimps, scallops and veggies. So if you’re vegetarian, this oyster bar is the most valuable bar in Umeda area in my opinion. You must come here absolutely.
