After my meal, this became one of my top recommendations to friends visiting Osaka! The Sakura meat (horse meat) is tender and delicious, completely took me by surprise as I thought horse meat would be on the harder side due to the lean meat. Another thing that was surprising to me was the price vs the quality of food we received. For people who are afraid to eat raw meat, I highly recommend their fried rice!
The restaurant is located on the second floor and is quite small and cozy. I love the interior design of the place. I do recommend to book ahead of time or come earlier during the evening as it does become quite busy at night.
The staff can’t speak English, but they were so friendly and overall service was absolutely amazing. They go the extra mile to help put away our jackets when we got seated and walked us to the door when we finished our meal.

Fantastic place to get quality horse meat. I’m from the states and I always love to indulge in the local cuisine. If you’re the same and want to give it a shot I’d for sure put this place at the top of your list! I tried a place in Kyoto and the meat was lower quality and more expensive. Very good. Very affordable.
