Food review below❗️
⚫︎Assorted appetizers
・Top firefly squid from Toyama prefecture dressed with vinegar miso
・Matsuzaka pork roast ham
・Saikyo-yaki Sakaiminato conger eel
・Simmered rockfish shellfish from Nemuro, Hokkaido
・Kagoshima Satsuma Beef Kiwami A5 Marushin Tataki
Great selection from starters. All of these items go well with alcohol, and I get the impression that you can drink them forever. Everything was delicious, but especially the plumpness of the firefly squid and the strong flavor of the whelk were really delicious😊
⚫︎Assorted sashimi
Assortment of 5 types🐟
・Big fatty tuna, red meat from Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture
・Hokkaido water octopus
・Kinmedai skin frost from Katsuura, Chiba Prefecture
・Broiled cutlassfish from Futtsu, Chiba Prefecture
All of the dishes are made with good quality ingredients and are extremely fresh. The tuna here is said to be shipped directly from Toyosu Market, so I was looking forward to it even before my visit.
Both the red meat and the fatty tuna had a strong flavor, and the golden sea bream had a firm texture✨
⚫︎Hungarian foie gras chawanmushi
It was my first time to try foie gras chawanmushi, and I was really surprised at the flavor. A clever composition that emphasizes the Japanese-style items in front and behind by placing Western-style items in between.
⚫︎A5 Japanese black beef white hot pot
Satsuma beef A5 loin in white miso hotpot. Vegetables include burdock, shimeji mushrooms, tofu, white onions, and wheat gluten. The white miso base is mellow. The meat was lightly shabu-shabu. I love that I can eat a variety of vegetables as well as meat. The soup was delicious and I drank it all😆
⚫︎A5 Japanese black beef 2 types teppanyaki
Two types: A5 loin and A5 marusin. You can eat it freely with 3 types: grated sauce, onion sauce, and rock salt. Both were soft and delicious with a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
⚫︎Fried puffer fish
The fish dish is fried puffer fish. The good thing about it is that it's freshly fried, so it doesn't lose its springiness. It was an extravagant combination of wagyu beef and then blowfish.
⚫︎Kirishima black pork steamed in a steamer
The third meat dish is steamed. It had a lot of ingredients besides meat, such as shiitake mushrooms, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, shimeji mushrooms, and green onions. The vegetables were steamed and had a sweet taste, allowing you to enjoy the flavor of the ingredients as they were.
⚫︎Tuna bowl & red soup
The final dish is tuna bowl. The egg is a dragon's egg, which is a luxurious yet luxurious bowl of rice. The tuna here was really delicious, and I was very satisfied that I could eat it all the way to the end, not just the sashimi!
⚫︎Dessert
Finish the course with a refreshing strawberry sorbet✨
It was a full course of Japanese and Western cuisine with good ingredients and was really delicious and very satisfying! Although it is an izakaya, the ingredients and content of the food are quite good, and I think the price will definitely exceed 10,000 yen in Kita and Minami.
By the way, this time I chose the top course, but Tabelog also has a course with 8 dishes and all-you-can-drink for 6000 yen, so be sure to check that out as well.
When you are looking for a delicious meat and fish restaurant in the Ibaraki-Takatsuki area, please include it in your list. I recommend it✨
